There’s an almost indescribable joy that can only be achieved in that moment of contemplation before diving face first into a tall pile of icing, gently perched  atop a moist morsel of cake. Let our cupcakes remind you of this wonderful feeling. Our talented decorators pipe our homemade buttercream into creative visions of blossoming flowers and adorable creatures like frogs and ladybugs to welcome a new spring full of change. These character cupcakes change seasonally and we’re especially excited to show off for Easter! We’ll be bringing in the softer pastel colors, especially blues, lavender, green, and yellows. This palette is evocative of the tender new growth and burgeoning spring. Some are also rooted in religious tradition; such as the grace of the Virgin Mary depicted in her blue frocks, the purity of white, or purple representing the Lenten season as it comes to a close.

Easter 2017

This year Easter Sunday lands on April 16^th and we’re happy to have a little extra time to prepare. We like to keep a mix of classics around from year to year so you’ll definitely be seeing some traditional eggs and bunnies gracing our cases. However, we’ve also come up with a few fun surprises this year. Look for some exciting new styles inspired by Peeps, sprinkles, and a lively new color palette! While our most popular Easter products are definitely cookies, personally we’re most looking forward to the hot cross buns and cinnamon rolls. They’re great to keep on hand for company and heat up quickly for an easy breakfast while the kids are tearing through their Easter baskets.

If you’re looking for a delightful dessert, you can’t go wrong with a bunny cake. It’s a simple addition to a great meal and one less thing you need to worry about; especially after a long day of Easter egg hunts in the park or watching the animals in the BioPark enjoy their Easter enrichment.
