More than 2,700 votes were tallied in the third Albuquerque Journal Readers’ Choice Awards.
“Readers’ Choice is an opportunity for Albuquerque Journal readers to get involved and vote for their favorites across a wide variety of categories,” says Lauren Rolls, marketing manager for the Albuquerque Journal.
Readers had 133 categories to consider this year, from favorite doughnut shop to podiatrist to dog groomer to place to watch a sunset. Reader participation has increased from year to year. In some categories it’s clear our readers have favorites,with several three-peat winners, while in other categories there have been different winners each year.

We won “Best Bakery” for the third year in a row making us a three-peat winner!! We are humbled and grateful to all those who voted!
